14 Trend fall/ winter 2024-2025
Corsets, monochrome looks, faux fur, tailoring, feathers and sequins are some of the trends that will make up our next winter closet and some items may remain there.
The 2024-2025 shows in London and New York left fashion enthusiasts amazed at the eclectic mix of trends that promise to dominate the coming season.
Trend 1- Texture Mix Fall/Winter 2024-2025
The catwalk was full of luxurious textures with the cozy appeal of faux fur and feather coats with voluminous proportions.

Trend 3- Penny Lane jackets fall/winter 2024-2025
Drawing inspiration from vintage aesthetics, Penny Lane coats, those with a fur lining that folds out, have made a comeback on the catwalks. Designers such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermes, Loewe and Michael Kors reinvented this iconic garment with mid-length silhouettes with lined collars and cuffs
Trend 4- Monochrome look for fall/winter 2024-2025
A single color look can be much more impressive than a combination of several. As well as elongating the silhouette, it's the perfect result for an elegant look.
Red looks as glamorous as those shown at the Vetements, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Ferragamo, Dilara Findikoglu, Victoria Beckham, Sportmax and Versace fashion shows have been featured in a minimalist version at Balmain, Proenza Schouler, Courrèges and Dries Van Noten. In addition to the dresses, there were red-colored coats by Hermès, Bottega Veneta and Mugler, as well as total looks by Gabriela Hearst, GCDS and MSGM, and a suit by Jil Sander.
Trend 5- Leather fall/winter 2024-2025
Leather made a bold statement on the catwalk, dominating everything from elegant suits to extravagant coats. Some leather items such as pencil skirts to jackets, longlines, trench coats, dresses and suits have been seen for some time now and seem to be going from strength to strength
Trend 6- Tailoring fall/winter 2024-2025
Tailoring is a classic and timeless style of clothing that never goes out of fashion, but this coming season it's taking center stage, with a focus on chic office wear and power dressing.
This trend also includes structured shoulders, slouchy pants and large, tailored blazers. Don't forget tights and elegant tailored skirts for a sophisticated ensemble. There's nothing more exclusive than a tailored suit.
Trend 7- Fall/Winter fringe 2024-2025
Fringe added a touch of movement and elegance to coats, dresses and accessories all over the catwalk. The intricate fringe details added a playful touch to fall and winter fashion.
Trend 8- Transparency fall/winter 2024-2025
This is one of those trends that you have to interpret and adapt to real life. Transparent fabrics exuded an ethereal and delicate air, whether lace or transparent overlays to evoke purity and femininity
Trend 9- Corset fall/winter 2024-2025
Following the trend for structured looks seen on the catwalks, the corset is sculptural at Balmain and Di Petsa. Gucci, Versace, Schiaparelli, Tom Ford, Acne Studios and Vetements present sober, minimalist corsets, while Dilara Findikoglu and Dolce & Gabbana go back to the roots of this piece of lingerie. Finally, Simone Rocha and Sportmax suggest a belt-like corset over jackets, for a stunning, rigorous and attractive style
Trend 10- Ruffles and frills fall/winter 2024-2025
Dramatic or delicate ruffles adorn dresses, skirts and blouses in various shapes. Vertical layered ruffles, organza dresses with ruffles for a feminine touch, hemlines with ruffles, adding a romantic touch to the outfit.
Trend 11- Leopard fall/winter 2024-2025
Here for us, invest in good pieces, this trend will come back very quickly. An overcoat at Dior, fur coats at Alaïa, Balenciaga, Diese, Marni and Rabanne, or loud dresses and jumpsuits at Versace, Ester Manas and Alexander McQueen. The more discreet can opt for smaller items such as a Zimmermann blouse.
Trend 12- Sequins and metallics fall/winter 2024-2025
Metallic details continue to shine on the catwalk, with designers incorporating sequin details and metal embellishments into their collections. Big sequins to add drama, all-sequin dresses for a glamorous look. and metal detailing, adding an avant-garde touch to, you name it.
Trend 13- Plush fall/winter 2024-2025
Fur added a playful touch Designers Bottega Veneta, Valentino, Marni and Dolce Gabbana presented their creations with lots of texture, lightness and exotic visual interest.
Trend 14- Country fall/winter 2024-2025
They're on the rise. Tweeds, patterns such as herringbone and argyles, cardigans and the handmade weaves of knitting and crochet, which evoke classic country style. This was the inspiration for Sebastian Flyte, Jeeves and Wooster from Brideshead Revisited, the Mitford sisters.
